Right! My first foray into the blogging business. Don't really know if you could call this a business at this stage but anyway I'm rambling.
Why start a blog? Especially a girl who has really not had much previous experience in writing or keeping a diary for that matter. Well? I guess because - if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!
I thought it might be fun to start something just telling people about things that I like to do. 'My Favourite Things' as it were. Tried naming my blog along these lines but of course some brilliant person had already beaten me to it.
So where does Junket and Jelly come from you may ask. Well one of the reasons was to explore, in my ever replicating way (see synopsis of Julie and Julia), the recipe's of Aunt Daisy of New Zealand Radio Fame. I came across a page in her book that had recipe's for both , I thought it was cute and so Junket and Jelly was born! I want to share my experience of these recipe's with whomever is interested and I hope that it is at least one of you!
My other interests are Baking, Dancing, Musicals, Reading, Learning, Travelling and many other things so I will be adding a bit of these here and there as well.
